Join us for Open Air Acrylic Painting workshops!
Join Us for Creative Outdoor Art Sessions in the Western North Carolina area!
All groups are $25 per person per group.
With over 25 years of experience as an artist, and a background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Computers and an Associate's degree in Graphic Arts combined with a certification for Peer Support and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to assist in navigating early recovery, I am passionate about blending creativity and technical expertise. I am formally trained in color theory and the psychology of color, and have had the privilege of leading art therapy groups, focusing on creative outlets for recovery. Most recently, I hosted a group with the Albuquerque Art Group. I also hosted several groups as a Peer Support Specialist in the Albuquerque area.
Now that I have relocated, I am excited to offer weekly art sessions in various parks around the Western NC area, weather permitting. Each session will explore a new theme or topic, designed to inspire creativity regardless of your skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll find something valuable in these sessions.
Classes are two and a half hours long and will be limited to 15 participants to ensure a personal and supportive environment. You’re encouraged to bring your own art supplies, though I will have extra materials available for those who need them. I will also provide water and a light snack, paper towels, and cups for rinsing brushes. I invite you to join us for a relaxing and inspiring time in the great outdoors, where you can tap into your creativity while surrounded by the beauty of nature and the company of like-minded individuals.
